Anant Srinivas Subramanian from Delhi Private School Sharjah (DPS) scored
highest among UAE students in the All India Senior School Certificate exams
when results were announced by the Central Board of Secondary Examination
(CBSE) Monday.
The
18-year-old scored an aggregate of 98.2 per cent, becoming the overall topper
in the UAE as well as in the Science stream. In the commerce stream, Indian
High School (IHS) Dubai's Hensel Frank Henry topped with 96.8 per cent, while
Vaishali Vinod of Our Own English High School topped the Arts stream with 95.2
per cent.

Speaking
to Gulf News, Srinivas credited his teachers, parents and his elder
brother for his outstanding achievement.
Srinivas,
scored 100 in physics, 99 in Math, 99 in Computer Science, 98 in Chemistry and
95 in English.

said the youngster who has been to DPS Sharjah since Grade 4.
